OCX files are Microsoft ActiveX components used in applications and web browsers for website interaction. Unregistered and deleted original mscomct2.ocx file, registered new mscomct2.ocx file downloaded from the internet (but not mscomct2.inf). And manually deleted from the registry one MRUD containing 'mscomct2' just in case.
